Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced senior administrator with previous rota management experience to support the senior management team with the management of medical staffing within the Children Services in the west integrated health community (IHC).


With support from Senior Management and Clinicians the office holder will be responsible for the operational management of medical staffing and rota coordination issues.


The post holder will be responsible for the provision of timely, accurate and reliable data relating to all Paediatric Medical Staffing issues.


Using independent judgement, the post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day operational co-ordination of medical staffing issues across all the Childrens services in the west integrated health community (IHC).

The duties will include managing the rotas for junior and middle grade staff as well as the on-call rotas for the Consultants.


Supporting the Clinical Director and Operations management team with the smooth running of doctors' shift patterns in line with the New Deal - Junior Doctors Hours/European Working Time Directive's, co-ordination of all leave arrangements and prospective cover for Consultants' and junior medical staff.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
