Salary 40k (neg)

North West London office near shops and public transport

Hybrid working - 40 hours a week

JOB SUMMARY:


The Partnerships Manager will support the Head of Fundraising and wider fundraising team by account managing high value community and corporate Partnerships.


This role requires someone with excellent relationship building and account management skills as well as a thorough understanding of best practise partnership fundraising.


MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Take responsibility for a portfolio of existing community and corporate partnerships, generating new fundraising opportunities and securing partnership renewal.

Develop, plan and manage the stewardship process for each Partner, overseeing and planning regular, professional communications to keep donors engaged and motivated

Support the fundraising team with all other areas of fundraising, especially charity led events, treks and challenges and other income streams as appropriate

  • Strive to continuously deliver exceptional account management and exceed targets
  • Develop robust partnership plans detailing ways to maximise income generation and processes to deepen and strengthen partnerships
  • Utilise a wide variety of income generation opportunities such as employee fundraising, treks and challenges, sponsorship, cause related marketing,
Work closely with Managers to explore, identify and secure additional community and corporate fundraising opportunities through existing relationships with donors and Patrons

  • Continuously monitor and evaluate your efforts of securing new business as well as the successes of existing partnerships to be able to report on, and illustrate, the impact of your work towards achieving your Objectives
  • At monthly one to ones, feed in accurate forecasting and pipeline figures for each Partner, supporting the Head of Fundraising with accurate budgeting, phasing and reforecasting of income
  • Draft agreements and contract content for partners where appropriate
  • Use Etapestry (CRM) system to accurately and regularly to record comms, meetings and actions/agreements, and ensure income is accurately recorded
  • Stay abreast of developments in Partnership and the wider area of fundraising.
- have a proven track record within a fundraising environment, with demonstrable experience managing high value community and corporate charity of the year and other partnerships
- have strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present orally and in writing
- be proactive and able to prioritise your workload in order to deliver multiple projects at the same high standard
- be able to identify potential new business prospects and have experience of writing proposals and delivering pitches
- have the ability to set clear direction and forward thinking realistic plans
- have the ability to actively listen, seek information, and ask questions to ensure the understanding of underlying concerns of others
- have the ability to influence, negotiate and persuade others to gain acceptance or agreement of ideas and approaches;
- have a competent level of computer literacy, including use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Excel and the Internet
- have excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational and team working skills
- be self-motivated, be able to work from home and be able to travel to and around London and other areas as required
- have the ability to actively listen, seek information, and ask questions to ensure the understanding of underlying concerns of others
- be respectful, non-judgemental and empathic towards clients/colleagues
- show a sense of responsibility and commitment to organisational excellence with integrity, honesty and professionalism.
