Overview


2fawcett are working with an Accountancy firm based in Sheffield and supporting them with the recruitment of a Bookkeeper, to join their team.

Our client is looking for an individual who has worked within Practice before.


The Role & Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper

  • Bank Statement, Credit Card, Petty Cash, and Expenses Reconciliation
  • Internal System Bank Receipts Upload
  • VAT Returns
  • Management of Profit & Loss Accounts
  • Maintenance of Sales & Purchase Ledger (SAGE)
  • Internal Client System Commission & Fee Income Booking
  • Commission Log Maintenance
  • Cash Flow Forecasting
  • Preparation of Payroll Figures for Accountants' Processing
  • Inputting Relevant Journals (e.g., payroll)
  • Other Adhoc Duties

Requirements of the Bookkeeper

Required:Experience in an accountancy practice

Advantageous: Experience working on Sage 50
-
Must have:Strong Excel and IT skills (including financial formulas and creating spreadsheets)

Up to £27,000.00 per year
