Job description

We are seeking Security Officers for a modern student accommodation in the Manchester area on a part time, permanent basis.

Shift Pattern:
Nights, Weekends and Bank Holidays. Bank holidays are double pay.

Pay rate:
£10.42 per hour.

The Security Officer role would suit those with excellent interpersonal skills and who wish to develop skills in security, gatekeeping, and as a Security Officer.

Must be able to commute to locations in city centre.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Maintaining a safe and secure environment & ensure safe access to the building at all times.
Carrying out patrols/hazard reporting etc as requested.
Ensuring all Health & Safety policies are adhered to.
Completing all necessary reports in line with company documentation.
Access/ Egress control.
Monitoring of alarms & CCTV system.
Key Holding responsibilities.
Controlling and monitoring access to the carparks.
General refuse management & ensuring overall tidiness on site.
Provide a high standard of customer service.
Be polite, helpful, and diligent, with a 'can do' ethos.
Have a calm personality capable of controlling difficult situations.
General cleaning and upkeep of site.
Valid frontline SIA Licence.
Must be able to commute to locations in city centre.
Good verbal and written communication.
Fully comprehensive 5year work/education history.
Excellent attention to detail.
Reliability.
