REED are exclusively supporting a highly successful organisation in King's Lynn, recruiting for the position of
Sales Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.


Within the role you will be responsible for managing a small team of Sales Coordinators who process day to day tasks for new and existing clients, whilst also managing key accounts for the organisation.


Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the sales department
  • Line management of two individuals, setting KPI's, ensuring tasks and objectives are met
  • Performance management, 121's and coaching as required
  • Dealing with holiday & sickness within the team
  • Key Account Management for existing clients, maintaining relationships and growing accounts where possible
  • Maintaining strong knowledge of the company's products and services, promoting these to clients
  • Produce sales reports, forecasts, and target client lists for monthly sales meetings
  • Visit clients to maintain and enhance relationships
  • Achieve sales growth and hit sales KPI targets as agreed
  • Assessing client profitability and reporting on development areas
  • Proactive contact to lapsed clients
  • Carry out market research for industry and competitors, feedback to management on findings
  • Reviewing pricing and contracts
  • Supporting with marketing initiatives
  • Laisse with production teams and work collaboratively across the company
  • Ensure any complaints or issues are documented and identify areas for improvement

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 12 years people management experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience within Sales Account Management, B2B
  • Technical mindset with ability to understand manufacturing processes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship management skills
  • Presentation skills, presentable image and credible with clients
  • Solid communication skills and able to work collaboratively with others
  • Strong organisation, planning and prioritisation
  • Driven and proactive with proven ability in meeting and exceeding targets
  • Strong IT skills
  • Commitment and passion for the highest standards of service
  • Driving licence required.
Please note, this role will involve travel to see clients in the UK, on average once per week

Working hours of Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm, with an early finish on a Friday.
