We are a friendly family run business with several Nursing and Residential Care Homes and actively recruiting for this post in the Cheltenham area.


As an Activity Coordinator, you will be responsible for implementing engaging activities for our residents at Bredon View Care Home.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors in our community.


Benefits:


  • Weekly pay £11.44 per hour. Pension contribution. 28 days paid Annual Leave pro rata (including Bank Holidays).

Expected hours:

  • 10:30am to 12.30pm 5 days a week. 10 hours in total

Responsibilities:


  • Execute a diverse range of activities and programs to meet the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive needs of our residents
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure activities are tailored to individual resident preferences and abilities
  • Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff members
  • Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all participants

Skills:


  • Experience in care desirable
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
  • Knowledge of dementia care techniques are a plus
  • Compassionate and patient when working with residents
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
