We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our agency.
As a key member of our catering staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the provision of high-quality meals and excellent dining experiences for our residents.

Responsibilities:
Meal Preparation:
Assist in the preparation of nutritious and appetizing meals, taking into consideration any dietary restrictions or special requirements of residents.
Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen.Service Delivery:
Support the catering team in delivering meals promptly and efficiently to residents.
Provide a friendly and welcoming service to residents during meal times.
Kitchen Maintenance:
Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Assist in the organization and storage of food supplies.Collaboration:
Work closely with the Catering Manager and other team members to ensure seamless coordination in meal preparation and service.
Communicate effectively with residents and staff to address any specific dietary needs or preferences.
Customer Focus:
Foster a positive dining experience for residents by being attentive to their needs and preferences.
Handle resident inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
Compliance:
Adhere to relevant health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and other policies and procedures.
Attend training sessions as required to stay updated on industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment is desirable but not essential.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Salary:
£10.42 per hour
