Meraki Talent are delighted to be engaged to appoint a permanent Accounts Assistant for a professional services business based in Edinburgh.

The role is paying between £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (DOE) including bonus potential.

The Role

The Accounts Assistant position is a varied role that presents the opportunity to join a dynamic and highly performing internal finance function.

The role will report directly to the Director of Finance. The successful individual will be involved in maintaining the purchase and sales ledger, chasing debtors and assisting with month-end.

You will be involved in but not limited to the following duties:

Reporting into the Director of Finance
Processing invoices
Payment runs
Chasing debtors
Processing staff expenses
Bank reconciliations
Other ad hoc duties as/when required

To be successful, it is crucial that you have at least 18 months practical finance experience within a Finance Assistant/Accounts Assistant position.

It's important the individual has strong attention to detail and good communication skills for both internal & external partnering.

The role of Accounts Assistant is paying £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (DOE) including an annual bonus. The office is based in Edinburgh and is easily accessible via public transport.
