A firm who operates across Yorkshire, who in recent years has achieved great financial success, are now seeking Solicitors for the care proceedings department.

This is an amazing opportunity for Fee Earners looking to take the next step or experiencedfamily solicitors who are wishing to share their knowledge within a growing department.

This client in particular are seeking a flexible and that can do attitude, with the willingness to work from more than one office to meet the needs of the business.

The role itself will involve managing a busy caseload, plus key tasks including:

  • Running and assisting with a case load of client matters.
  • Dealing with new client enquiries.
  • Dealing with matters at all stages, from taking the client's initial instructions through to archiving, in accordance with office and accounts procedures.
  • Taking instructions from clients and advising accordingly.
  • Instructing counsel or other experts where appropriate.
  • Representing clients at Court (including advocacy) as appropriate.
  • Obtaining and preparing file documentation.
  • Cost drafting as appropriate.
  • Billing files and obtaining monies due to the firm from the clients and other parties.


The office is based ithe market town of Morley, amongst shops, eateries, car parks and the nearest train station just a 10 minute walk away.

Salary for this role is purely based on experience
