MIG Welders needed Immediate start on the outskirts of Newmarket


An ever-growing manufacturing company based just outside of Newmarket are in need of an experienced welder to join their team.


MIG Welder duties:
-

  • Receive work orders from the Team Leader and complete each order in a timely manner
  • Jig and weld the components into weld assemblies to a high standard i.e., burr free, neat welding with good penetration, in line with the engineering drawings
  • Safely operate workshop equipment i.e., band saws, mills, lathes, drills, break presses, punching machines, welders, plasma cutters, guillotines etc. to make the required components
  • Ensure workshop equipment is well maintained
This position will predominantly be MIG welding mild steel to assemble agricultural machinery. Some of the work would be repairs & maintenance.
