Our client are a privately owned company who specialise in providing door access equipment across the UK.
Currently they employ around 60 employees based over two UK sites but due to business demand, they are currently looking to add to their team basedin Newcastle upon Tyne by adding a Despatch Operator to the existing team.
Reporting to the Despatch Manager, duties for the Despatch Operator role will include:- Ensure timely despatch of customer orders in line with company compliance system
- Check that all incoming materials and products conform to Company Specifications and allocate to appropriate location
- Pick and assemble individual parts for orders as required
- Assembly of low variation kits prior to dispatch
- Carry out stock checks
- Maintain company database
- Have good computer and IT skills to maintain company database
- Be a good communicator and work well as part of a team
You will be working a full time 37.5 hour week but may need to be flexible to support the needs of the business.
In return, our client will offer an annual salary of £20.550, contributory pension and an annual bonus dependent upon company performance.
