As a Land and Property Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of MOD properties occupied by non-military and military tenants across the Garrisons on Salisbury Plain and at Aldershot.
You will also support the Army's objective in making the best use of Surplus Facilities and efficient, professional, and diligent management of Third-Party Occupiers.
This role also includes daily Management responsibilities including management of documentation, advising on lease obligations, liaising around maintenance and repairs, and maintaining an accurate property management database.
Another key responsibility of this role is to co-ordinate and approve general maintenance and repairs requests, general management duties and lease administration, as well as Financial Processing and Accounting Duties including preparing invoices, issuingdemands and collections of rent.
To be successful in this role, you must have Property Management experience, working knowledge and understanding of the various Landlord & Tenant Acts (specifically the 1954 Act), Housing Acts and other statutory legislation governing property includingFire, H&S, etc.
You must also have knowledge of Commercial Rent Arrears Recovery and the ability to interpret and understand lease and other legal documents.
