The Shaw Centre is a not-for-profit organisation, which provides daytime support for people with learning disabilities.

We are looking for a warm, caring, enthusiastic and respectful individual to provide person centred support for the people who attend the centre.

Main duties are:

• To support people with learning disabilities in the centre and out in the community
• To empower people with learning disabilities and promote their rights
• To work in a person centred manner at all times

Experience of supporting adults with learning disabilities is essential.

It is essential that you have successfully completed NVQ level 2 health and social care diploma or equivalent.
