    Role Overview

    This role is part of the 11:FS Growth team, reporting to Executive Producer Laura Watkins. The media department manages content for audio, video, and events, including podcasts like Fintech Insider and documentaries like Decoding: Banks.

    Fintech Insider reaches a global audience weekly, promoting the 11:FS brand and thought leadership worldwide. It has surpassed 20 million downloads weekly, with over 750 episodes released monthly.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • To drive growth through content creation, show writing, scoping, planning, production, and delivery across our podcast network, live events, and related content.

    Key Areas of Focus:

    • Content creation for Fintech Insider, maintaining quality and expanding reach by producing news, insights, interviews, client work, and live shows.
    • Writing show notes for all Fintech Insider episodes (minimum twice weekly), interviews, live shows, events, and client projects.
    • Identifying suitable guests for topics, expanding the contact database and pairing guests with hosts.
    • Developing new show ideas and topics with the content and production teams to keep content fresh.
    • Collaborating with marketing to promote content and grow the audience.
    • Working with clients and internal teams on sponsored shows and content.

    Content Production:

    • Leading and managing recordings and post-production processes to ensure high-quality output.
    • Attending Fintech Insider recordings, managing hosts and guests.
    • Coordinating with editing teams to ensure audio/video quality.
    • Setting up and dismantling production equipment.
    • Facilitating remote, hybrid, and in-person recordings with the A/V team and guests.

    Requirements:

    • Excellent written English and copywriting skills; journalism or copywriting experience preferred.
    • Ability to write for various formats (spoken, written, live, panels, interviews).
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
    • Understanding complex financial topics and creating accessible content for diverse audiences.
    • Interest in fintech and financial services; industry experience not essential but a plus.
    • Pas sion for content, especially podcasts, with creativity and proactive content suggestions.

    Additional Information:

    • This is an initial 6-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) with potential to become permanent.
