Job description
This is an exciting opportunity to join NRW's Grants Assessment and Monitoring Team.

As a team we are responsible for administering NRW's grant programme supporting communities, sectors and organisations who can deliver best for the environment and naturalresources of Wales.

You will provide the highest level of professional support to our experienced monitoring team.


Your expertise and passion will be fundamental to our ability to deliver for the natural environment and people of Wales, as well as tackling the nature and climate emergencies.


Qualifications

Knowledge and experience of the following:

  • Grant management skills with basic understanding of budgeting and financial management concepts.
  • Managing grant programmes from initiation through to impact reporting.
  • Financial and grants management/administration.
  • Maintaining audit trails of decisions made on grant proposals.
  • Analysing large data sets using Excel.
  • Completion of searches using Google and other online databases.
  • Working in a programme and project management environment with project management experience and/or qualifications.
  • Building relationships with other teams, with a focus on customer service.
  • Working within a Finance and Grant funding environment.
  • Share your knowledge and expertise to help solve problems, supporting all Heads of Business in Evidence Policy and Permitting as required.
