Responsibilities


As a Foreman you'll be working within the Mogden STW team, supporting them with the efficient management of site resources, labour teams and subcontractors, to ensure the safe delivery of a small project or a section of a larger project, and in accordance with the project programme.


Your day to day will include:

  • You will manage safety on site including giving inductions and effective Tool Box Talks, Daily Task Briefings and Point of Work Risk Assessments to site operatives.
  • You will be responsible for organising and requisitioning site equipment, plant, and materials to ensure completion of works, as well as coordinating with line managers on managing work methods which are technically sound, safe, economically viable, feasible and consistent.
  • You will maintain daily records of site activities, liaise with the line managers to produce information for progress reports and implement the requirements of work safety plans, method statements, risk assessments and other works procedures.
  • You will supervise site operatives and site activities will be your responsibility making sure tasks carried out are within their levels of skill and expertise.

  • You will have your NVQ 1 or
  • You will have Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card and Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS).
