Automotive Customer Service & Maintenance Controller

Hours:8am - 4pm Monday - Friday only


Pay:
Up to £30,000 Basic + 10% Annual Bonus


Our client an exciting and emerging Electric Vehicle Dealership and Fleet Maintenance Specialist in the West London area are currently in the market for an energetic and enthusiastic customer coordinator with mechanical knowledge to join their expanding Fleet and customer service team.

They are seeking a Service Controller or Service Advisor to be responsible for organising the service and repairs for all fleet returned to our clients head office site post-rental.

You will need to book-in vehicles for servicing, bodywork repairs and MOT tests and deliver excellent customer service internally and externally at all times.

You will act as the point of contact within our clients customer support team.

You will also have responsibility for tracking the progress of customer vehicle issues reported into our clients customer service team.

You will allocate 'downtime' cases to our clients fleet partner and maintain contact to ensure the business has good visibility of 'vehicle off-road' cases and work to ensure that customer off-road time (and unbilled days) are minimised.


The role will require you to keep their in house fleet system updated with repair movements, and ensure vehicle status, MOT and service histories are updated and accurate.

This role would suit an Automotive Service Advisor looking for a new exciting opportunity away from a Dealership operation.


Your main day to day duties will include but not limited too:

  • Booking cars in for repairs & servicing
  • Updating in house fleet system to reflect current vehicle status, MOT and service history.
  • Following up with garages and dealers to minimise vehicle repair times
  • Running weekly meetings with internal stakeholders on vehicle repair issues and agree next steps
  • Authorising repair estimates
  • Raising purchase orders for all repairs and servicing
  • Following up with garages and dealers on all open breakdown and mechanical issues raised by customers
  • Raising compensation claims with OEMs around vehicle downtime
  • Handling breakdowns and providing resolutions whilst providing good customer service
