Description
Due to continued success, we are looking for a Fully Qualified Asbestos Surveyor in the Midlands.This is a field-based role so you will be required to travel, however, our Bristol facility is likely to be your nearest local office.
We are able to offer a competitive salary between £26,000 - £35,000 depending on skills and experience.Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out all disciplines of asbestos surveying and inspection, including management, refurbishment and demolition surveys as well as asbestos in the ground
- Accurate collection of factual and numerical site data via a phablet device to automatically generate quality reports through our awardwinning software, NexGen
- Familiarity and compliance with all asbestos relevant legislation and guidance e.g HSE and construction
- Experience of working within a UKAS accredited organisation and familiarity with documents such as Lab 30 and RG
- Maintaining your personal QHSE documentation and adhering to internal assurance processes.
- Providing a professional and courteous service to clients, answering any queries that they might have, as well as specialist advice and interpretation where necessary
- Communication with clients, management, the Technical Support team and fellow team members
More About You
- BOHS P402, equivalent RSPH qualification or Certificate of Competence
- Working knowledge of

- Full UK driving licence (manual)
- Flexible approach to travelling and outofhours working
- Strong work ethic, with the ability to work effectively and intuitively alone or as part of a small team
