About the Trust
The Northern Care Alliance is an NHS Foundation Trust (NCA FT) created by bringing together two NHS Trusts, Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust and The Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Deal with client contact at Reception, either in person by telephone in a pleasant, friendly, and diplomatic manner, ensuring the utmost courtesy and consideration.
- Maintain a filing system as necessary including the archive of files as appropriate.
- To deal with telephone enquiries and assess action. To arrange appointments for the clinical teams within Community Services Bury using the computer system, in a friendly and diplomatic manner
- To carry out all general administrative tasks including post, filing, compiling and extraction of client notes
You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You'll have the following skills/experience:
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organisation skills
- Computer literate / keyboard skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise own workload
