IT Services ensures the University of Oxford has the robust, reliable, and high-performing IT facilities we require to support the distinctive needs of those engaged in teaching, learning, and research.


The Microsoft Platform Services Team runs the infrastructure for a range of central services that keep the rest of the University running, including desktop services, key business systems, reporting and integrations.


As one of our Senior Systems Administrators, you will be joining a team of skilled and friendly Tech Leads, Database Administrators and Systems Administrators, who work together to achieve the best possible services for our customers.

About the Role


You will take a leading role in the design, installation, and configuration of systems, software, and infrastructure with responsibility for the management of all aspects of Microsoft platforms including Windows Server, networking, and security in a diverse environment.


You will work closely with colleagues in support teams and across the Platform Services group to deliver secure, stable platforms and improve services.


About You
Significant experience of Windows Server administration is required for this role.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills are also essential, along with positive approach to problem solving and innovation.
