We combine our extensive technical expertise with our practical technology solutions to help our customers comply with their complex building compliance requirements.
Following a period of sustained growth and a number of new contract wins, are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Legionella Risk Assessor to carry out all LRA's in the Midlands and Northwest regions.
The role will also involve carrying out legionella risk assessments within domestic and public buildings for our wide variety of customers.
Main duties and responsibilities
This role will include a variety of tasks including the following:
Carry out all tasks / works in accordance with HSE ACOP L8 and HSE HSG274
Carry out LRA's at customer sites and then produce concise and detailed reports
Temperature checks, including accurate recording and adjustments where possible
Descale and disinfection of both fixed and adjustable showerheads and hoses
Cold Water Storage Tank inspections
Clean and disinfection of Cold Water Storage Tanks
Taking water samples and submitting for laboratory testing
Flushing little used outlets
Calorifier Inspections
Calorifier descaling
Mains Injections
Minor and/or major water softener servicing
Minor repairs to plumbing systems
Working on your own initiative and also as part of a team ensuring all deliverable SLA/KPI targets are met or exceeded
To ensure that all communication channels are utilised in order to keep both the client and TECS Group informed of relevant information
Working safely and following company health and safety regulations to ensure safety of yourself, colleagues, customers and visitors
Taking full responsibility and ownership of all assigned tasks
Being proactive in reporting faults to equipment, buildings and fittings
Delivering excellent customer service in this client facing role and ensuring excellent client relationships are sustained
Ensure all Risk Assessments and Method Statements are in place and adhered to for any works being completed
Remuneration, annual leave and benefits:
Salary range of £28,000 - £32,000 dependent on experience. Group pension. Flexible working arrangements. 24 days holiday per year (plus bank holidays). Participation in our market-leading (uncapped) commission scheme. Car allowance/company van. Excellent career progression prospects.
