The Staffing network are a nationwide labour provider across the UK. Due to growth, we have immediate vacancies for a store assistant for our clients fibre company.

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Store Assistants to join our team.

As a Store Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the store and providing excellent customer service to all customers.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Gather, prepare and load supplies on Van according to the daily plans prepared by Project Manager
  • Drive Vans to the assigned location
  • Collection of supplies from the client location
  • Collection of supplies from assigned location/store.
  • Help with supporting work assigned by store manager/ project manager
  • Load and offload heavy supplies from Van to the Yard.
  • Help engineers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Keep the store clean and tidy, including shelving, displays, and other areas
  • Receive and process incoming stock deliveries
  • Maintain accurate stock records and assist with inventory management
  • Provide support to other team members as needed
  • Work on inventory and fleet management trackers
  • Comfortable with night shifts.
- keep office front / internal / external environment clear from rubbish

  • Other tasks will be assigned by management.

Requirements:


  • Management Degree or equivalent
  • Previous experience in store management
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and good organizational skills
  • Ability to work for long periods of time.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
  • Physically Fit
  • Willing to work under harsh conditions
  • Comfortable with heavy lifting
  • Willing to do both field and office support work
  • 10 plus years UK driving license
  • Understanding of repairs of cars/vans
  • UK warehousing experience
  • Disciplined person
  • Interaction with field engineers will be required therefore applicant should have leadership skills, strong personality, flexibility in attitude, learning mindset to continuously improve the store and van management.

Job Types:
Full-time, Temp to perm

Contract length: 12 months


Salary:
£25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
