Our client has a newly created vacancy for a Corporate Responsibility Partner, initially offered as a 12 month fixed term contract.


This is a fantastic opportunity for an expert in all things corporate responsibility to leave a cultural legacy for the business.

You'll lead the organisation to a stronger social conscience in all aspects of their work, embedding a mindset of corporateresponsibility with all people and cementing the business as a great place to be.


You will be required to review the current networks, engagement and activities, then lead on where the business needs to be in order to achieve the objectives for corporate responsibility.


The role:

Ensure the highest commercial and ethical standards across its range of client companies, products and services, with corporate responsibility at the heart of everything they do

Demonstrate and drive a strong social conscience throughout the organisation, embedding a 'corporate responsibility everywhere' mindset in line with their principles and behaviours that underpin their culture

Devise and deliver strategies which support commitment to Diversity and Inclusion, Wellbeing (including mental health), Green and CSR

Oversee network groups to deliver a coordinated series of activities to ensure corporate responsibilities are a prominent and valued part of the employee experience

Showcase corporate responsibility externally to enhance business reputation

Build and develop relationships with community partners and affiliated organisations


Key Outputs:

Coordinate and support network groups to deliver a comprehensive range of activities throughout the year which promote and educate the cause of each group to create a positive and diverse environment for employees

Take the lead in engaging with key stakeholders - shareholders, employees, suppliers, partners, business members, governments and the local communities where they operate, to help identify the key issues, set corporate responsibility goals, devise the strategiesand plans to achieve them

Work with the Engagement team to utilise communication channels and promote corporate responsibility and network group activities to internal and external audiences

Be the expert in corporate responsibility, keeping up to date and reporting on the latest research and best practice to ensure the business is a leading light in this area

Establish and maintain corporate responsibility policies

Develop and maintain relationships with affiliated companies and local communities

Create partnerships with the Employee Forum, ExCo and OpCo to listen and embed new thinking

Act as a coach and mentor for network leads

Identify opportunities to be recognised externally for corporate responsibility work and achievements

Conduct program reviews to assess outcomes and effectiveness against agreed CR KRIs, reporting to OpCo and ExCo

Oversee budget and monitor spending in line with planned objectives

Ensure compliance with Change governance


Requirements:

To be passionate about social and environmental change and role model ethical and inclusive behaviour and values

Proven capabilities in designing and leading strategies, with a proactive, flexible and inclusive style

A key influencer in the organisation with the ambition and ability to lead cultural change with corporate responsibility at the heart of any decision making

Able to proactively develop team dynamics within the established employee network groups, to increase performance and develop individuals to be ambassadors for all change initiatives

Ability to make logical, well-balanced and reasoned decisions, and deal with challenge from across the business

Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver projects to plan

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present clear, well-structured reports and proposals

Strong storytelling skills to inspire others and showcase our impact.

Ability to build good relationships across the organisation including the CEO, ExCo, OpCo and Board

A natural people person with energy, enthusiasm and confidence

Knowledge and experience of digital channels to communicate effectively with internal and external audiences
