Since 1944 AD Construction Group has established itself as a well-regarded refurbishment contractor providing building maintenance services within the public sector, predominantly to local authority housing associations.
Working as a close-knit team the organisation has successfully proven time and time again its ability to be a serious competitor in the construction industry.
We are looking for an experienced Clerk of Works to work in Margate for 37.5 hours a week.Main Duties:
- To work solely under Thanet District Council, based out of the Thanet District Council offices
- Undertake inspections of finished works to ensure they are appropriately signed off
- Carry out preinspections of works and agree scope of works and estimated duration at individual property/block level
- Validate programmes of work as issued by Thanet District Council by means of 'presurveys' of properties and blocks before commencement of annual programmes
- To monitor works in progress with the contractor
- To agree any variations to the contract of site
- Organise and attend regular site meetings to monitor progress, quality issues, etc.
Package:
- Salary £37.5k
- Monday to Friday
Additional Information
- Must hold a full UK driving license
- DBS check will be carried out on your behalf at the companies expense
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Six Month Probationary Period
