We are working with Schools and Local Authorities in your area and are looking for Core Subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEND Teachers like you to transform the lives of Young People with SEND and SEMH needs in your community.

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, including SEMH, MLD, SLD, PMLD, and other Additional Educational Needs
• Support students referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
• Complete lesson reports and provide regular feedback on student progress

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
• Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment
