Positions have become available for motivated and conscientious staff to work in our Stores and Warehouse departments.
The Company:
We are a successful, privately owned family company. We design, manufacture and install our own bespoke equipment for the retail sector. Our customer portfolio is extensive and include household name retail outlets, across the UK and Eire.
The Role:
Responsible to and working with either the Stores Supervisor or Warehouse Managers within the factory to ensure all work is completed to the highest standard.
Work effectively, establishing good relationships with the team & other departments which requires good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Stores
Receive, unload and check delivered stock from delivery notes.
Order pick components from job cards and/or the SAP system.
Issue goods to relevant job numbers.
Keep accurate records of issued goods utilising SAP.
To cover despatching of goods parcels when required.
Participate in stock take/control activities.
Comply with Harte company policies and standard operating procedures.
Experience & Attributes required:
Ability to work on own initiative with or without supervision and cope under pressure.
Strong eye for detail, strong work ethic.
Experience of computer systems - knowledge of SAP an advantage.
Warehouse
Work across the site warehouses to maintain stock integrity by accurately slotting items in the correct locations.
Use handheld devices and the SAP warehouse system to execute work.
Follow best practice and standard operating procedures.
Order pick components from job cards and/or the SAP system.
Assist with the despatch of goods to an extremely high standard and accuracy.
Ensure the highest standards of housekeeping are observed.
Participate in stock take/control activities.
