Description

Flexible virtual outpatient clinics in adult weight management. We are offering temporary hours until 31st March.

You can commit to a minimum of 7.5 hours a week up to a maximum of 22.5 hours per week.

This is a waiting list initiative so we have the flexibility to set up virtual clinics to meet your availability.

We are looking to attract Dietitians who wish to work virtually or Dietitians who would like some additional temporary hours to complement their current post.

You will be required to conduct virtual outpatient clinics for patients. This can be via telephone or accuRx (video).

To assess, plan and implement interventions and ensure patient treatment is evidence based and patient centred.

You will be required to document care on the EMIS record system and to inform the referrer of the outcome.

Documentation to referrers is through an electronic system with the support of the admin team.

You are required to have a suitable workspace for conducting virtual outpatient clinics where the confidentiality and patient experience is assured.

You will be required to attend onsite (Brierfield Health Centre BB9 5SN) at the beginning of your contract to collect your virtual equipment and attend induction and IT training.

You will also be responsible for returning the equipment at the end of your contract.

The admin team will be responsible for booking new patients into your clinics and sending text reminders.

You will also be able to send EMIS tasks to the admin team for patient literature etc to be send out before or after patient appointments.

Our weight management service covers standard weight management patients as well as patients pre and post bariatric surgery.

We provide a tier 2 bariatric service so support patient prior to referral for treatment as well as those post treatment for non NHS surgery or 2 year post NHS surgery.

We will consider applicants with no bariatric experience.

We can tailor the content of the virtual clinics dependent on the weight management skills of the successful post holder.
