Introduction:


My client is a niche technical consultancy who provide IT and cyber services to the Government and Defence clients. They are growing quickly and require a HR Advisor to help with the day-to-day running of the HR department

This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days per week required onsite and the rest of the work can be done from home.

Key responsibilities:


  • This role offers an exciting opportunity to undertake a dual role, either in HR and Compliance or HR and Business Services.
  • Manage and oversee the daytoday running of HR tasks, including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with HR relevant legislation and stay updated on changes in employment laws.
  • Opportunity to undertake a dual role, either in HR and Compliance or HR and Business Services.
  • In the HR and Compliance role, responsibilities may include ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, policy development, and risk management.
  • In the HR and Business Services role, responsibilities may involve collaborating with different departments to support their HR needs and contribute to overall business success.
  • Provide support and training for further HR qualifications through apprenticeship courses.
  • Encourage continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Skills & experience:


  • Minimum of Level 3 or 5 qualification in Human Resources.
  • Proven experience in daytoday HR operations.
  • Good understanding of HR relevant legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
