The Shelley is a 32 bed residential care home set in the residential area of Worthing, 10 minute walk to the seafront.

The home has been running for 17 years and we pride ourselves on delivering excellent care and service to each of our residents.


We are looking to recruit a cleaner who is outstanding and has a desire to make a difference to the elderly in the daily care which they require.

You must have an eye for detail, enjoy cleaning and housekeeping and able to adapt to the changing needs of our residents and the home.

You will need to work closely with our care and domestic team and have an enthusiastic and happy disposition.

We strive to provide a supportive environment to work within, with management available daily to support you to do your job well.

We have a close knit team who know the home and this contributes to The Shelley being an enjoyable and fun place to work and provide care.


Principle Responsibilities

  • Cleaning of resident bedrooms to a high standard, including deep cleaning
  • Cleaning dining rooms / lounges / lavatories.
  • Cleaning carpets when required
  • Restocking toiletries, soaps, towels etc. as and when required.
  • Housekeeping duties,
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent


Pay:
£11.70 per hour
