Experience working in a Builders' Merchants or similar industry would be beneficial
Targeted Sales experience in a B2B or B2C environment is essential for this role
Proactive, flexible and enthusiastic attitude
Demonstrable customer service focus
IT literate
Able to create and maintain successful relationships
Able to handle difficult situations and diffuse conflict
A valid Driving Licence would also be advantageous

Hours of Work
This is a Full-Time position, working Monday to Friday, between 7am and 5pm plus every other Saturday from 8am to 12pm

What will I be doing in the role?
Our
Senior Sales Advisor is one of our most important roles in the business.

A great
Senior Sales Advisor will help keep our business running smoothly, and continue to build and develop customer relationships and sales opportunities.

To support the business, you will;

Maximise customer interactions to support achievement of sales and profit targets through upselling and crossselling relevant products offering specific product advice
Develop new customer accounts and lapsed accounts
Realise full potential of all customer interactions and build strong, effective relationships with customers and suppliers, managing feedback accordingly
Ensure all customer orders are fulfilled in a timely fashion
Support all Company initiatives
Follow plans to continuously improve customer experience
Advise customers on trading terms and conditions and information in relation to customer accounts and credit levels
Continuously look for opportunities to improve product and industry knowledge
