    Catering Assistant Required in Southport, UK

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team in Southport, United Kingdom. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality food service in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist with food preparation and serving to customers.
    • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
    • Ensure all food items are stored correctly and meet health and safety regulations.
    • Operate kitchen equipment, including dishwashers and ovens.
    • Contribute to stock control and restocking supplies as needed.
    • Assist with food waste management and recycling.
    • Support the kitchen team with additional duties as required.

    Requirements

    • Prior experience in a catering or kitchen environment is an advantage.
    • Basic food hygiene knowledge (Food Hygiene Certificate preferred).
    • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
    • Show ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
