This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented, experienced, highly motivated and ambitious Content Writer to join the dynamic global Marketing, Business Development and Communications team in the London office of an international law firm.


This role is ideal for someone with a passion for writing, capable of producing clear and engaging content for internal and external audiences that aligns with the firm's brand identity.


This is a newly created role which is key to enhancing the firm's voice and profile globally and in their regional markets.

The firm want someone to help them bring their brand and market positioning to life, showcasing what they do, their market insights and what makes them stand apart from their competitors.


Reporting to the Global Head of Communications, you'll write content for the website, social media channels and client communications, as well as podcast briefs, video scripts and internal communications.


Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Plan, create and edit engaging articles and content for internal and external audiences to support our business priorities.
  • Work with regional Communications and Marketing & Business Development colleagues to develop content for campaigns, initiatives and events.
  • Work with Communications colleagues and fee earners to research and develop points of view, insights and thought leadership pieces.
  • Edit technical articles produced by fee earners to create engaging content that is accessible and easy to read.
  • Collaborate with our Creative Services team to bring content to life visually
  • Champion our brand voice and coach Marketing & Business Development colleagues and fee earners on writing with impact in our house style
  • Work with team members on website and social media content planning, delivery and analysis

Personal Qualities include:

  • Educated to degree level from a recognised university.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar or relevant role.
  • Ideally someone with legal or professional services experience or perhaps coming from a journalism background.
  • Able to produce clear, concise, interesting copy and accurately edit and proof content.
  • Confidently able to translate complex ideas and technical language into impactful and engaging content.
  • A strong written and verbal communicator.
  • Organised and able to manage and deliver to strict deadlines.
  • Experienced in content writing in the financial or professional services sectors.
  • Proficient in the MS Office suite and have good working knowledge of social media channels.
  • Familiar with SEO and know how to optimise content to drive traffic.
  • Confident in working to a brief and researching and developing content from scratch.
  • Able and willing to work outside normal working hours/days when required.
