up to £23K DOE

We have an exciting job opportunity for a graduate to join a leading manufacturer and distributor of machines components to the Petrochemical, Aerospace and Automotive industries.


Purchasing Graduate Job Duties:


  • Identifying requirements for goods, materials and services
  • Expediting purchase orders against agreed delivery dates
  • Identifying reliable suppliers
  • Evaluation of suppliers
  • Price negotiations
  • Comparison of delivery terms
  • Establishing order quantities
  • Processing of purchase invoices
  • Administration and maintenance of MRP system
  • Monitoring of raw material inventory against agreed targets
  • Identifying efficiency savings in Purchasing process
  • Support supply chain sustainability improvement
  • Minimise supply chain risk

Purchasing Graduate Skills and Qualifications:


  • Mathematics Skills
  • Knowledge of ERP / MRP systems
  • Computer Literacy
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain and Distribution Management
