Trainee Machinist, Ely

Full time
  • Monday to Friday
9am to 5pm

£10.42 per hour

Responsibilities will Include:


  • Setting up various CNC machines, changing tools, collets and loading bar feeder.
  • Programming, adjusting and creating new programs
  • Working accurately to drawings, checking and inspecting parts during manufacturing run and following procedures.
  • Checking documentation and signing off jobs
  • Check and maintain machinery daily. Problem solving equipment issues.
  • Working to minimise waste, agreed delivery schedules and timely communication
  • Carry out stock checks of raw materials.
  • Cleaning and plating of components, correct storage of raw materials

Training Provided in:


  • CNC lathes
  • Reading and interpreting mechanical documents and drawings

Requirements:


  • A keen eye for detail and resultsdriven approach
  • An analytical mindset and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and selfmotivation.
  • Keen to learn and take on responsibilities

Job Types:
