Description
We are looking for an experienced cook to join our nursery team. The role involves preparing snacks and meals from a set menu for the children in the nursery. Working hours are 7.30am - 1.15pm, Monday to Friday.

  • Experience preparing and cooking healthy meals
  • Have experience working around allergies.
  • Completing paperwork for the kitchen
  • Undertake simple stock control, reporting goods to be ordered to the management team to ensure adequate supplies are maintained.
  • Undertake the cleaning of the kitchen and surrounding areas and of equipment to ensure the kitchen is maintained to a high level.
Must hold at least a Level 2 in Food Safety and Hygiene for Catering.


Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent


Pay:
£12.50 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Belfast: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
