About the role
Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented
Technical Administrator
to join our Highways team to work at the Scropton Maintenance Depot
, on a part time 20 hour permanent contract.
What you'll be doing
- Carry out general admin duties minutes of meetings, typing, photocopying and scanning.
- Cover reception when required
- Screen telephone calls, deal with messages and enquiries.
- Book conference rooms internally and externally for the team meetings.
- Verify weekly paid timesheets, ensuring that these have been approved by the appropriate manager before submitting them to payroll.
- Gather evidence, documentation and information in relation to incidents and accidents to support insurance claims (green and red claims).
- Processing of various paper and electronic records for the project including: briefings, inspections, driver & vehicle records.
- Support the production of various weekly and monthly reports including: HSE & road reports.
- Process road space booking for the A50 DBFO with the support of the route managers and technicians. Work with the operations and network management leads to ensure all required road space is booked ahead of the planned works.
Who we're looking for
- Previous experience as an Administrator or similar role.
- Highly motivated and proactive.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Honest Reliable and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work independently as well as in a team.
- Organised with excellent timekeeping skills.
- High proficiency level in MS Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Valid driving licence.
