Description

We are looking for a suitable person to join our Torbay Hospital Switchboard team on a part-time basis working approximately 18.5 hours per week The successful applicant will work within a team supporting a 2 week rota, incorporating early, late, night and day shifts and including weekends and Bank Holidays.

The department is the first point of contact for both internal and external customers, providing a number of critical functions, including Directory Services, Paging, Alarm Management, Cardiac Arrest and other 'Crash Call' emergency services.

As such we are looking for a person with excellent interpersonal skills and a calm, positive attitude. Switchboard experience would be an advantage but not necessary.

It is important that the post holder will be able to multi-task and work under pressure as well as deal with any emergency situations as they arise.
