About The Role:

Our small but ambitious marketing team is looking for a generalist Marketing Executive.

Reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager, this role will be integral to the continued success of the marketing function and will have close alignment with the sales team to deliver marketing campaigns.


This position will focus on the planning and execution of our industry events calendar to create and progress pipeline as well as raise brand awareness.

Additionally, you will have responsibility for content creation, campaign-based activities, working on our website and social media presence, as well as collaborating with external agencies.


About You?
Previous experience as a Marketing Executive with exposure

to corporate events


As well as:

  • A successful track record of delivering both inperson and online events
  • Proven experience in a generalist role, supporting all areas of a marketing function
  • Driven, motivated and able to take ownership of projects, events and thrive in a fastpaced environment
  • Highly collaborative as working in close cooperation with sales and other functions is key
  • Resultsdriven with strong analytical ability
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Problemsolving skills
  • Time management, prioritisation and organisational skills are key
  • Ability to shift priorities and help other team members as needed
  • Attention to detail in all aspects of work
  • HubSpot, WordPress and Canva experience is a plus

What Will Our Marketing Executive Do?
Responsible for planning, organising and executing key industry, partner and Icon-hosted events, hybrid events and webinars that generate new prospects and advance existing


opportunities:

  • Research, enquire, negotiate and recommend which events will support sales and wider business objectives
  • Source speaking opportunities
  • Create and manage an events calendar
  • Manage a range of inperson and online events from planning through to followup
  • Establish clear objectives for each event with relevant stakeholders
  • Create registration pages/landing pages and drive traffic to those pages
  • Compile relevant reports
  • Manage relationships with event organisers
  • Manage agencies and suppliers to ensure high quality event delivery
  • Maximise the use of technology to enable efficient delivery
  • Work with suppliers to deliver event branding and giveaways
  • Support recruitment marketing as and when needed
  • Write, edit and reuse copy for use across all channels
  • Campaign support to help delivery and measurement of key marketing campaigns throughout the year
