Description
Human Resources leads the implementation of the Group's people strategy in line with business objectives.

It facilitates talent management, succession planning and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward and benefits, learning and wellbeing.


The Group Benefits, Pension & Wellbeing (B, P & WB) team are responsible for developing the strategic direction of global pension, employee benefits, leaves and wellbeing for the Group.

Our goal is to provide benefits that meet the needs of our diverse employee population; and support a culture where wellbeing comes first.


As part of a team of B, P & WB Delivery specialists, this role will be accountable for supporting global change implementations and provide guidance to support regional initiatives.

The team also has a strong focus on service management, customer experience and supporting the B, P & WB Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) execute their responsibilities.

Reporting to the Group Head of Benefits & Wellbeing Delivery.


In this role, you will:

  • Ensure robust change management and execute on activities that support our global B, P & WB priorities, whilst also putting the employee experience of HR at the heart of what you do.
  • Partner with the Group B, P & WB SMEs, supporting them on projects to deliver the Group's priorities, 1LOD governance and the management of global policies
  • Provide guidance to countries so their change activities are aligned to the global B, P & WB priorities and frameworks, whilst respecting the local needs of the business
  • Assist with the execution of Future Of Work (FOW) and hybrid working initiatives
  • Support the management of global vendor relationships and help HSBC get the best outcomes from those partnerships to benefit the business, our employees, and robust operations
  • Find continuous improvement opportunities that make ways of working more efficient and customer experience frictionless over time. You will work with internal teams who deploy new functionality in HSBC's technology platforms such as Success Factors and Service Now
  • Ensure delivery is coordinated across Human Resources; our partners in Insured Employee Benefits, Pension Risk, IT and Procurement; and our Third-Party vendors
  • Support analysis of data and interpret the results to help measure the effectiveness of benefit and pension plan management, wellbeing initiatives and operational delivery across the group.
Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Experience of delivering Benefits and Pensions in a large, global matrixed organisation with internal delivery partners (e.g. HR Operations) is essential
  • Action orientated approach (focus on outcomes and results) having delivered previously at a group or global level is essential
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and comfortable working in an environment with competing priorities and a fast pace
  • Robust knowledge and practical experience of change management; governance and controls; and supporting the management of third party vendor relationships
  • An analytical mindset and knowing how to collect, process and interpret data to identify opportunities, recommend continuous improvements, and shape actions
  • Experience of making recommendations and implementing solutions that deliver a seamless employee experience and achieve operational efficiencies
  • Able to communicate complex ideas simply and clearly verbally, written and visual
The base location for this role is London with hybrid working arrangements in place. You will be required in the office in London two or three days per week to connect in person.
