Role

Our client are based on the outskirts of Canterbury require an additional staff member to support them making a variety of equine products.

Their customers include Olympic level riders and we export worldwide. They are considered a leader within our industry in terms of innovation and quality.

You will work as part of the Flair airbag team, making up and testing the unique air bags which are fitted into leather saddle panels, and putting together small fiddly pieces of equipment used with the air bags.

You will also help pack and prepare expensive goods for the couriers to collect, including checking paper work against original orders and the despatch paperwork.

Duties and responsibilities

You need to be happy to work under pressure, be able to switch between jobs as time necessitates and above all be pedantic in the care you take, be it making, putting together or packing goods.

Skills and experience
You will work with your hands using glues, knives and possibly sewing machines. You will never have time to be bored. Full training will be given in this very specialist role which is available due to continued expansion.

Benefits
This role is available on a temp to perm basis

Pay is according to experience but will be between £10.90 -£12 an hour.

Additional information

The process:
If successful after interview you will be invited to spend a few hours with the company.

This is to see if the company live up to your expectations, that the location is viable (must have own transport) and that you fit in with the company culture.

Hours: 40 hours per week across Monday to Thursday (4 day working week) The company now work a 40 hour week over 4 days instead of 5.

These hours can be worked between the hours of 7am and 7pm (your choice)

Paid Holiday: 21 days plus bank holidays

Please note - The business is in a Kent village with poor transport links. It's important you have your own vehicle and driving license.
