An exciting opportunity for an Assistant Medical Secretary to join our wonderful team

15hrs p/w - Thursday & Friday

The purpose of this role is to provide support to the Medical Secretary and Consultants in the Podiatric Surgery department, working on your own initiative using knowledge, skills and experience to manage and prioritise workload independently in accordance with operational standards and protocols.

The main aspect of the role will be audio typing clinical correspondence in adherence with standard turnaround times and managing the follow up waiting list.

Located on the border with Wales in the shadow of the Black Mountains, we provide acute and community services across Herefordshire and into parts of Powys and run Hereford County Hospital and the community hospitals in Bromyard, Leominster and Ross-on-Wye.

Worcestershire is our neighbouring county. The post holder will be required to travel between sites.
