Service Advisor

Permanent

Full-Time (8:00am-6:00pm - Monday to Friday, every third Saturday 8.00am - midday)

Competitive Salary and bonus scheme dependent on experience

Exeter

Duties:

This role is a great opportunity filled with challenging yet exciting duties that include but are not limited to:

  • Planning of schedule servicing, tachos and MOT bookings, job creation
  • Obtaining and updating of order numbers, creation of night board, liaise with workshop control to notify of work arriving and waiting to be commenced.
  • Retail invoice costing
  • Meeting and greeting customers
  • Answering and directing all incoming telephone calls in a polite and professional manner and within a maximum of three rings.
  • Dealing with all incoming enquiries reference customer job updates and call handling as many as possible.
  • Promote robust business practices and customer relationships, being proactive to not only retain but develop the customer base.
  • Ordering parts.
  • Logging and storing parts.
  • Organising returns.
  • Allocating parts to invoices.
  • Stock taking.
  • Completion of warranty parts log.

Requirements:


  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Confident in computer use.
  • Automotive experience would be an advantage.
  • You need to be proactive and take pride in what you do.
  • You will have a willingness to learn and will be engaged with training.
