Meridian Mortgages are one of the largest New Build specialists in the UK and we have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Care Adviser to work within our team based in Leicester.


Purpose of the role is to

  • Be the first point of contact with our prospective remortgage customers and present, promote and sell Meridian Mortgage's services
  • Book appointments for our mortgage and protection advisers for our existing clients when its time for them to review their finances
  • Conduct annual review calls with existing clients, both maintaining relationships and identifying new sales opportunities
  • Assist in adviser follow up of booked appointments for collection of documents where appropriate and needed

Success in this role will be if you

  • Help sell the benefits to our customers to use our services for all their financial needs
  • Help increase and maintain conversion of our opportunities
  • Are able to prioritise work, whilst multitasking
  • Demonstrate good communication skills and an ability to think on your feet
  • Have good PC skills, including word and excel

THEREFORE, WE NEED YOU TO

Be skilled at

  • Persuading customers to use our services
  • Verbal and written communication
  • Effective time management, whilst prioritising and multitasking your workload
  • Functioning independently and as part of a team

Have experience of

  • Providing a "sales through service" approach as a Outbound function
  • Financial services within the mortgage sector (desirable)
  • Delivering on Contact Centre KPI's and sales targets
  • Working with both internal and external stakeholders

Be

  • Emotionally intelligent
  • Able to manage moments of pressure
  • Detailed conscious
  • Able to adapt, quickly and flexibly, to requirements
  • Able to use information to your advantage in giving the best service to clients

Have knowledge of

Salary is made up of a basic of up to £22,300 per year + a performance bonus making an OTE of £27k.
