Electricity North West has an exciting opportunity for a hands on Dispatcher to join our inclusive team supporting strategic fault management for the regionThis full-time shift-based role is situated in our Manchester City Centre office.

To give you an idea of how this role will look and feel, these are some things you can expect to do:
- Be responsible for all fault resourcing (personnel and equipment) making sure that the right people are sent to the right jobs in line with our service requirements.
- Realtime updates of our Network Management System with accurate details of information as supplied by our onsite teams.
- Work closely with your Hub Technician to provide full fault management support and deliver best in class service to our customers.
- Coordinate and control the flow of information between field staff, the customer contact centre, and the customer to fulfill our OFGEM reporting requirements.
Full training will be given but it would be an advantage if you have a good electrical based background to support your knowledge and experience.

- Demonstrate a good understanding of the fault process and restoration
Essential Skills
- To be results focused and able to deliver under their own initiative within regulated time frames.
- The post holder will have to be a good communicator and be able to interpret demands from the business.
- Advanced IT/Keyboard skills.
- There is a need for high accuracy when completing and quality checking work.
- Ability to plan own workload and to plan and adapt to the ever changing needs of the customer.
- To quickly react on a daytoday basis to the demands and delivery time scales of the LV Control Manager.
- Ability to deliver to key objectives and target as set by the business.
