About Our Client:


Our growing Building and Construction client who are based in Peterborough are currently going through a restructure due to back to back record years in terms of gross profit.

This has led to an exciting role being available for Accounts Assistant (Hybrid) to join a business with a great working culture.

The company have been working hard to improve on company benefits as well as introduce hybrid working which can be flexible on days around the employees needs.


The Accounts Assistant (Hybrid) will be responsible for:

  • Daily processing of invoices
  • Ensuring all invoices are raised accurately
  • Allocating of cash receipts
  • Issuing of statements
  • Investigating and resolving invoice queries
  • Payment runs
  • Chasing overdue debts
  • Creating and managing new suppliers
  • Supporting the Finance Manager
  • Month end support

The Successful Applicant:


The Accounts Assistant (Hybrid) will:

  • Be able to commute to Peterborough when required
  • Have previous experience working within Finance
  • Be a great communicator both written and verbal
  • Be IT literate
  • Be comfortable working accurately to multiple deadlines
  • Have strong numeracy skills
  • Have great attention to detail
