Our client is a leading NHS organisation in Yorkshire which has an opportunity for an experienced financial accountant to join the team to provide support over the busy year-end period and cover until the post is recruited permanently.

Working with the Head of Financial Services, this position will be responsible for drawing together key aspects of the reporting, including the timely provision of financial schedules and data to ensure accuracy, looking after fixed assets, completing theorganisation's accounts to accounting standards, monitoring the cash position against the plan, and managing a small team.

Owing to the range of people you will be working with, you will need to form effective working relationships with a variety of contacts.

The work will span a range of tasks from influencing others' priorities to some hands-on technical work.

This will be a challenging and busy role, but is likely to give you a strong overview of the organisation and should prove satisfying work to the right individual.
