Description

Recording ECGs Fitting and removal of ambulatory monitoring devices Spirometry Alerting medical staff when abnormalities are noted on ECG e.g.

in A&E. BLS trained. Assist in stock control of consumable items used in clinical physiology.

Responsible for the safe use of departmental equipment.

Recognise and confirm accuracy of reported equipment faults and ensure details are documented and appropriate steps taken for their correction.

Ensure clean and tidy procedure environments are maintained. Assist with maintenance of local risk management policies.
