Working within the Animal Health Team you will be responsible for contributing to our priorities of Healthy People and a Healthy Economy for Shropshire by conducting visits to farms and livestock markets by ensuring that feed is safe, animal welfare and prevention of disease.

You will required undertake visits to ensure high standards of compliance, respond to complaints and promote the work of the service.

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is also required.

As a Regulatory Support Officer (Grade 8) we will provide you with on the job training and upon completion of formal qualifications and experience you will become a Technical Officer (Grade 9) with responsibility for your own area.
