Bid Manager to join the team.


Location:
Melton Mowbray


Salary:
£30-40k, with OTE earnings reaching £50-60k.

Bid Manager - The Role:
The role of Bid Manager at Tenders-UK is one of the most complex consulting roles out there.

As well as overseeing and shaping the projects we deliver (managing bids) you are responsible for sourcing and selling the work the company does.

That means yourtime is spent balancing prospecting for new clients, curating a network of existing clients, and managing the day-to-day delivery of multiple deadlines.


To thrive in the role, you need the resilience and drive to maintain sales targets, and the intellectual curiosity and attention to detail which delivers exceptional bids.

Unsurprisingly, we don't expect you to have all that on day one. We have plenty oftraining available to help you.


Bid Manager - Training:

We are a learning organisation, and deliberate reflective practice runs through our processes and procedures.

You will start by going through 4 weeks of intensive training which will give you a core understanding of how we do what we do.

That will includeour 3Mind Writing training along with project management, strategy, and project delivery.

After that you'll be involved in delivering projects, supporting Bid Managers, and writing content.

This immersion method will give you the confidence to understand what we do and give our clients the right advice when selling/quoting projects.


Once you've demonstrated those skills we will move into sales training, which will combine 1-1 coaching and classroom sessions with real campaigns.

During that training, you will begin to carry a sales target, unlocking a wider bonus structure and increasingyour earning potential.

That sounds like it could take months, why should I go through all that?

OK, but what about all the basics like location, money etc?

We're based in Melton Mowbray, but you don't have to be.

You will need to come in for our monthly all-day CPD session, but other than that you have discretion on working location.

The coffee in the office is exceptional though.

The salary will be set based on experience with starting salaries between £30-40k, with OTE earnings reaching £50-60k. There is a profit share scheme for all staff which is paid quarterly.
