This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing FMCG business based in Royston.They are currently looking to recruit an Account Manager on a permanent basis, who will be responsible for managing UK based and international key clients.
Client Details
The client is a long established FMCG business who create, develop and distribute a brand of Cosmetic products, with presence both in major UK retailers as well as international stores.
Due to continued growth they are looking for an Account Manager to jointheir small and supportive team on a permanent basis.
As the company continues to grow, the role will also develop and additional responsibilities will be added over time, e.g.
market research and insight analysis.Description
As an Account Manager, your key responsibilities will be:
- Manage the day to day account activities and correspondence, and be the first point of contact
- Manage ongoing calls, updates and client meetings
- Providing after sales support to retailers and key accounts
- Gather full information on assigned client, e.g. company size, needs, pricing, competitive analysis
- Assist with managing commercial negotiations
- Analyse the sales evolution vs. internal targets whilst also benchmarking against the market trends and identifying new opportunities
- Sourcing, assessing and researching new territories and generate retail opportunities
- Explore and identify opportunities within potential new accounts
Profile
- Live locally to Royston and able to commute 3 times a week
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Enthusiastic, able to take initiative
- Team player and able to collaborate effectively
- Proficient using Microsoft Office
- Experience in a B2B customer facing role preferred
